Y1 have been busy in Science and Art

Year 1 have had a busy week! In Science, we have been investigating different materials to find out if they are transparent or opaque by holding them up to our eyes. We also used different materials to clean up water spills on the desk to decide if the materials were absorbent or not. Super experimenting Year 1! 

 

We also had to share some examples of their fantastic 'weather' artwork. They have used watercolours and oil pastels to create the masterpieces. Well done Year 1!
