Y1 at Church

A huge thank you to Father Jordan and the church congregation for welcoming Year 1 to the Holy Eucharist Service on Wednesday at St Mary’s Church! The children enjoyed experiencing the rituals of a service, joined in with prayers, gave offerings of peace and received a blessing. They also had a look round church and asked lots of thoughtful questions. 

 

They also enjoyed the walk to and from church, using this opportunity to spot some signs of spring. The children spotted lots of daffodils, blossom on the trees and even some eggs beside the duck pond! What a fantastic morning.
