Bog Baby

Reception Class have had a busy couple of weeks back in school. We have loved exploring the story of  'The Bog Baby'.  After listening to the story, we went on our own adventure outside to see if we could find any unusual discoveries. That's when we came across a small Bog Baby outside, near Hannah's Garden. We brought him inside and looked after him just like they did in the story. We found a margarine tub for him to sleep in, along with some damp cotton wool. We then came into class the next day to find out he had gone overnight! We decided as a class to get busy writing some missing posters so everyone in school could help us find him. 

We loved going round school and displaying our posters for everyone to see. That same afternoon we got a call from Mrs Kent to say she had seen something blue out of the window. We loved discovering the Bog Baby in Forest School and we decided to leave him there because that's where he belongs!
