Y1 Maths

Year 1 are working really hard in Maths at the moment! They are learning about part-whole models, and how each of the parts can add together to make a whole. For example, 2 and 3 (the parts) add together to make 5 (the whole). They have been making and using part-whole models in lots of different ways, both inside and outside the classroom. It's been wonderful to see the children's confidence growing as they begin to spot number patterns. Well done Year 1!
