Y1 and Y2 do love to be beside the seaside!

What a fantastic day Year 1 and Year 2 had on their trip to Fairhaven! With glorious sunshine and the perfect beach weather, the children had an unforgettable day exploring the seaside.
Our young explorers loved mud dipping and searching for shrimps, crabs, and all sorts of amazing sea creatures. They even ventured into the water to catch more shrimps and discovered a variety of fascinating shellfish!
After enjoying a well-earned picnic lunch, it was time for a beach treasure hunt. The children found beautiful razor clam and mussel shells, crab shells, and even an incredible sea potato – what a brilliant discovery!
To round off the day, everyone teamed up to create some fantastic beach art, using their imagination and the natural treasures they had collected along the shore.
There were smiles, laughter, and lots of muddy hands as the children learned, explored, and made wonderful memories together. What a brilliant beach day!
