The Vikings are Coming!

Y5 were thrilled and amazed when Olaf Grimson - the Viking - came to visit! He taught them all about life as a Viking settler in 9th / 10th Century 'Englalonde' and even trained them up to be both the attackers and defenders in a battle, forming their very own shield wall. The whole class learnt so much, which will stand them in good stead as we continue our topic on the Anglo-Saxons and the Vikings.
