Swimming Gala

On Thursday evening, a group of Year 5 and 6 children took part in the Chorley Sports Partnership swimming gala. The children competed in individual and relay races, demonstrating excellent perseverance and determination throughout the evening. Well done to Imogen who came first in breaststroke; Thea and Thomas who came third in butterfly; and Robert, Thomas, Thea and Imogen who came third in the mixed medley relay. A special mention is needed for Maia, who received a medal for her courage in taking part in the event! Miss Slater and Mrs Rodofile were so proud of all the children who took part, as they cheered each other on and were so brave to compete against lots of schools. Go Team St Mary's!
