Orienteering Fun!

On Wednesday evening, a group of Year 6 children took part in an orienteering competition at Astley Park. In their pairs, they were given a map and a control card and had 30 minutes to find and stamp all of the 8 markers located in the woods of the park. They were so determined, used fantastic map reading skills and ran as quickly as they could. One of our pairs even made it back in under 25 minutes! They were all excellent and enjoyed trying a new sport. Go Team St Mary's - we are all so proud of you!
