Viking invasion of St. Mary's!

Year 5 had a very exciting visit from Hrothgar the Viking! They learned all about weapons and armour; acted out some stories of the Viking gods; lit a fire; played a Viking game of hnefatafl; and learned about a chieftain's burial. They asked excellent questions and got stuck into lots of activities throughout the day. Well done Y5!
