Mini First Aid for Y1, Y3 and Y5

We were delighted to welcome Andrea from Mini First Aid to school again last week. Each year, on a rolling programme, Y1, Y3 and Y5 spend time learning different First Aid skills, from Y1 learning how to call for help, ring 999, apply plasters and put someone into the recovery position to Y3 and Y5 learning CPR. It is such a worthwhile thing to do and we really feel the children are learning valuable life skills to take with then in to the outside world. Thank you so much, Andrea. See you next year!
